From these far away countries or from the bend of a road, they brought back to Paris many species of flowers, natural resins or even fruits and, depending on their mood, imagination and set up a collection of fragrances not even imagined at the time, with enchanting names : the "Eaux de voyage".

2011The company changes ownership but stays independant and its home port is still the same, in one of the most prestigious places of Paris, 34 place du Marché Saint Honoré !
It's a young entrepreneur, VALÉRIE PIANELLI who takes the lead of COMPTOIR SUD PACIFIQUE. Passionate, backed with a strong team, the adventure continues thanks to her. How many similarities between the creators of the brand and the new leader! Since ever, VALÉRIE PIANELLI views the world through scents … first, those of her birth country and young years, Italy, then all the smells she met during her many travels around the world.
Her fascination for the vegetal world, her interest in the richness of raw materials, naturally lead her to study Pharmaceutical Sciences. Her scientific profile completed with a strong economic education allows her to join one of the major French laboratory : the Pierre Fabre Group, whose philosophy " all nature's secrets to work in the name of beauty" colours and influences her all career !

The great adventure of Comptoir Sud Pacifique starts with a trip to Polynesia ... the impressions felt during this first trip determined the choice of the designers and confirmed their decision to make a difference thanks to exotism and refinement of the olfactory creations. Since 1974, the brand logo is a Motu, this mythical islet from the Polynesian Archipelago !
