Amour de Cacao

This perfume is so lovely. The orange scent is very light, and for me only lasts an hour. But the chocolate and vanilla last all day. Both my husband and I think this perfume smells like yellow cake with chocolate ganache frosting. It’s a wonderful, rich, sweet scent.

back in the day! Smells delicious, like chocolate milk! Love it!

Nothing spectacular

Really nice opening (citrus/orange and chocolate) and it stays that way for a few minutes after applying, but fades pretty quickly. Doesn't project a lot on skin or clothes, which is fine. The notes listed are pretty accurate.
I wish the orange/chocolate scent would stick around longer. After an hour or so, it's a very generic, dull vanilla scent to me. Barely seems worth it to call it anything other than vanilla.
Similar to Chocolate Greedy by Montale (which I also found disappointing), but more intimate and slightly less sweet.

The scent is exactly the chocolate scent I have been searching for. Unfortunately the scent is very weak. I'm not getting any projection. the scent also is only lasting minutes. For this price point I expected more. I'm going to let it sit and mature for a while and see if that makes a difference.
